Puppy Love - Boise Pet Portraits

Aren’t these pups the cutest? Some of my clients have four legs… And that makes me so happy. For my clients whose family extends our four legged friends (mine does!) I say, bring them! Include them in your family portrait. And better yet, schedule a session for them! How wonderful to celebrate our best friends who are always there for us, a constant companion and giver of comfort and love. Boise friends, I may just be scheduling a puppy mini session somewhere in the future — these pictures are just so much fun!

Winter Fashion Shoot

Boise Snow! Fun Fashion Shoot at Reid Merril Park in Eagle, Idaho

When it became clear that THIS was the last of the snow we were going to have for the year… And I still had not done the epic beautiful creative shoot in the snow that I had been envisioning for months, I sent out a call for models who were available NOW! Steph and Ang came through for me! This Winter Wonderland complete with gorgeous furs, flowing skirts, gorgeous hair and makeup was the stuff that I had been dreaming of! The Treasure Valley usually gets a few bouts of snow, and then its gone. On this particular day, I am pretty sure the snow had melted by later that evening. So the timing was perfect. This is going to be an annual thing. Now I am dreaming of how I can top it for next year. I also have families lined up for the next snow for their family portraits. C’mon Boise weather! Work with us!!

The day Lovely Lia created beautiful fashion, boudoir, creative portraits in Meridian, ID

I met Lia in downtown Boise at a coffee shop and immediately knew that I HAD to photograph her. She moved like a dancer, and had the most beautiful hair and eyes and was simply stunning. Now how to approach someone, tell them these things and not scare them away.... ! Thankfully Lia was excited to model for me and we were able to create an absolutely STUNNING shoot together at my Meridian Idaho studio. Gorgeous portraits that toe the line between traditional portrait, fashion portrait, and boudoir.... This is my happy place. Lovely Lia has moved from the Treasure Valley, and now works as a skincare specialist and is pursuing her career in dance and music far away from the Northwest, but I will be forever grateful for the day I was brave enough to ask for this shoot and she was kind enough to agree :)

Beautiful Michelle needed new headshots for all the the advertising, social media and marketing needs she will have as a new realtor in the busy Boise market. Now she has TONS to choose from!

I could not have asked for more perfect clients for this dreamy senior shoot.  These lovely and talented twin sisters are dancers (a guaranteed way to my heart) and loved to dress up in tulle glamorous wardrobe... And could they ever pose!  

This is such a special time their lives, as a mother myself, I see this time both from their eyes -- their whole lives, full of possibilities ahead of them, and from their mother's perspective who sees the little girls who have blossomed before her eyes and are spreading their wings.  

Capturing beauty and grace during a fun senior session is not only a fun and fulfilling experience for seniors, excited to celebrate this phase of their lives, but it is also a celebration for parents --a moment to honor the adult their child has grown into and hold onto the memory and moments created in their portraits that they will treasure forever.

Christmas came early for Liz's lucky husband.  She was so excited to keep her beautiful album a complete surprise -- and it was worth the wait!  He loved it.  And best of all, she had a fun, pampering, and absolutely perfect session.
